Right – left | You step above | And then you dance is a musical composition for light, objects and two performers in an intimate space. The intention of the piece is to draw attention to the boundary between different artistic disciplines, in particular notated musical composition, physical performance, free improvisation and installation. In fact, the intention of the work could be described as leading the audience into a sounding, moving and radiating painting. [...] The ever-changing result is explored in this new work, in which the composition of movement, light and sound becomes a new instrument, an organism whose language I need to hear but do not yet understand.

Right – left | you step above | and then you dance ist eine musikalische Komposition für Licht, Objekte und zwei Performer:innen in einem intimen Raum. Intention des Stücks ist, die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Grenze zwischen den verschiedenen künstlerischen Disziplinen zu lenken, insbesondere notierte musikalische Komposition, physische Performance, freie Improvisation und Installation. Tatsächlich könnte man die Intention des Werks damit beschreiben, den:die Zuschauer:in in eine klingende, bewegende und strahlende Malerei hineinzuführen. […] Das sich ständig verändernde Ergebnis wird in diesem neuen Werk erforscht, in dem die Komposition aus Bewegung, Licht und Klang zu einem neuen Instrument wird, einem Organismus, dessen Sprache ich hören muss, aber noch nicht verstehe.
